I will never be a Mexican.  I could marry a Mexican girl, have a bunch of Mexican kids, and even become a legal citizen, but I will never be a Mexican.  Fortunately, I don't care to be.  But whether I did or not, it would be impossible.

In contrast, anyone can become an American.  Because America is not a race or religion or ethnicity, you can become an American whether your name is O'Malley or Ortiz.  It doesn't matter who you are, what you believe, or where you're from.  America is about individual freedom, due process, and self-governance.

Which is why all the smug, arrogant control freaks hate it so much.

I haven't considered myself a "liberal" since the first months of Obama's first term.  Within a few months of him being sworn in, I made this poster with a friend of mine in Denver.  I didn't do any of the visual footwork, but the idea was all mine.  My friend did edit the phrase at the bottom to make it as offensive as possible.  My original idea was more anodyne.  But my friend made it 1000x funnier, so funny that in fact I have never been able to use it.  The phrase at the bottom is highly offensive.  I say that as a free speech advocate who believes people have been trained and conditioned to take offense at everything so that freedom of expression in the West can be destroyed.  But this poster is offensive.  It is not suitable for anyone.

I fell away from the "liberal faith" when I realized it was a faith, and not a Constitutional political system based on freedom and individual liberty.  As a faith, modern liberalism does not believe in personal liberty.  It is a hateful religious ideology whose acolytes try to use guilt and other divisive tactics to subjugate others to their will.  If guilt-tripping people doesn't produce the intended results, and the manufactured race war fails to undermine the live-and-let-live foundations of personal liberty held by massive numbers of people of all races who simply want to be left alone to live their lives in peace, the true keepers of the ideological flame can always resort to jihad.  Modern liberals are, apparently, violent extremists for whom one rigged and stolen election will simply never suffice.  Project your National Socialist religious leanings on everyone who disagrees with you, imprison anyone who was in Washington DC on January 6th, decriminalize crime in every major metropolitan area in the country, while allowing all kinds of corporate-sponsored Antifa and BLM grifters to burn cities down in the name of justice.  Those people are not liberals.

I am not a Young Turks fan by any stretch of the imagination, and while I distrust the motives behind Cenk Uygur's statement in the video below, I am more than willing to give credit where credit is due.  ANYONE who realizes they're in a cult, and are holding a glass of deadly Kool-Aid in their hand, let me be among the first to extend an olive branch.  I used to think I was a liberal, too.  Whatever it is, or was, it certainly shifted and changed under me, and if you went into it thinking it was about what it was about in 1972 when John Denver and Mama Cass were alive, you're not alone.  And if you haven't drunk the Kool-Aid, it's not too late.

Put the cup down, and back slowly out of the room.  Don't make any sudden movements, but disengage.  The ideologues around you are all doomed.  They have suicidal minds.  They are not liberals.

They are jihadis.

Politics aren't cool, as most political musicians demonstrate every time they talk about anything, but it's important to realize that "cool" is a luxury item.  There was no room for cool in Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, and there's no room for cool in Xo Biden's Elitist Paradise of Selective Justice.  It's important to look at all the leftist functionaries who are counting on your lack of cultural perspective, and to understand that your fake leaders are counting on the formerly-valid perception of "liberal as free-thinking" as existed in decades prior.  They're relying on you to believe that obsolete idea.  They're running on those fumes.  But today's assassination attempt of Donald Trump indicates that they are as far away from the idea of the old-school "Mama Cass liberal" as it is possible to be.  They are not liberals.

They're jihadis.

Politics aren't cool, but because cool is a luxury item, my last post on Instagram was an uncool one in support of Donald Trump.  I posted it before I left the U.S., 2 weeks before the 2020 election (it was clear where the American jihadis were taking things, even before they rigged that election).  I am very, very glad he survived today's attempt on his life, and my heart genuinely breaks for the family of the man who lost his life because he went to a political rally in the United States in 2024.  Like the death of Ashli Babbitt, the news of the death of the civilian at the Trump rally today is beyond tragic.  If you are in the jihadi cult, and have incited violence against your political enemies, the blood is on your hands.  You will not be held guiltless before the judgment throne of God.  You can be forgiven, but you need to repent.  Cop to it, and take off that bloody winter coat, 200 pounds of ideological hatred in July.  The shame of admitting you were wrong and letting go of the weight is lighter than the weight itself.  Your soul can be saved, if not your life, but you need to repent.  Stop stalling.  Time is running out.

If you're not one of the higher-ups in the organization, and are just sitting on the floor of the Mosque of Self-Righteous Cultural Marxism because you believed the secular Imams when they told you they were fighting for "justice," now is the time to take off your hijab and blinders and walk away.  It's not too late, but it will be.  This may be your final warning.

God bless everyone who cringes at the uncool sentiments our society has been reduced to (it is my sincere hope you never learn how much of a luxury it actually is to be prosperous enough to actually cringe at things.  If you have to learn that lesson the hard way, it means things are going to get much worse).  God bless the jihadis with the wisdom to take off the explosive vest before it blows up in anybody's face, including their own.  God bless Donald Trump and his family.  God bless Joe Biden, Joy Reid, Cenk Uygur, Robert DeNiro, and Rob Reiner (if they've called for the violent overthrow of the U.S., there is no need to curse them.  God commands us not to, and anyway, it would be redundant.  They have cursed themselves.  To curse them is to become them, y'understand).  And God bless the United States of America.  Whether it's cool to say so or not.

p.s.  The condolences and well-wishes from the so-called Democrats, including the Young Turks guy, aren't true.  If they believe what they say, major, obvious changes in their actions will be readily apparent in the days and weeks to come.  Don't hold your breath, and don't take them at face value.
