I'm leaving on a violin train
to dance on the ceiling
of a bottomless
sky
I'm dying to go falling
off this raincloud
like a bird
I will not hit the bottom
I am a mist of sorrow
Hanging by my neck
On a skeleton of words
* * *
I'm leaving on a violin train
for the lovesong
in the sky
The sun will scatter bolts of lightning at my feet,
Like rose petals of fire
And my face will be
a thunderstorm
of joy
And the Lord Himself will meet me
on a highway of diamonds
and honey,
And He will embrace me,
And tell me without
sorrow,
I would never have known
hope
And that He allowed the pain
to pry me loose
From the nightmare of the world
* * *
And then we will laugh
And the music will begin
And I will meet again
All those who have gone
before me,
And there will be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
For the former things are passed away,
And none of us will ever give
Another thought
To this kingdom of smoke
Again

I'm leaving on a violin train
To a place where I am loved,
Where butterflies are sailing,
And laughter is not polluted
By the knowledge of the world

I'm leaving on a violin train
Angel feathers/outer
space
No more crying in my worm bed
No more boots inside my heart
The train is truly great,
But the passengers are few
The camel's eye is narrow
The destructive path is broad
The rapture radio is blaring,
Adios, Navidad
