2026: A Frying Pan Shovel Odyssey is a brilliant film, a work of staggering symbolic and allegorical genius, in which the protagonist digs the sun up with a mythical frying pan shovel every day, not only to prevent the world from freezing, but to practice an improvised form of Partial Arts.
Partial Arts are the non-committal, undisciplined cousin of Martial Arts. They can be practiced by anyone, at any time, whether the partial artist has any talent or interest in the discipline or not. Partial Arts have dominated the cultural landscape for many years. It's so obvious, it's redundant to talk about it out loud.
Better to let the wind choreograph your laundry. It's actually more beautiful. I'm tellinya.
All of which is to say, the American Migrant Patreon is a work in progress, and I am doing what I can with the limited battery power I am able to squeeze from the primordial toothpaste tube of buried energy, way up in the mountains. The frying pan shovel with a chair leg for a handle is essential gear for the postmodern, partial arts mountaineer, and I extract gemstones of pure, righteous cell phone power from the broken Chinese garbage you can find on Amazon, every single day. But, unless God has a better idea, we're still going to Oaxaca. I realize the wisdom in testing the idea, so we're taking our time, with the understanding that the mountains are going to freeze us out in a couple months max, and once we leave, it will probably be forever. So there's no rush. We'll be out of here soon enough.
