Presearch is a search engine that gives you 0.12 PRE tokens for each search you make.

To be able to withdraw your PRE tokens you must first accumulate 1000 ELIGIBLE tokens.

You get 0.12 PRE tokens per search and are limited to 30 searches per day. You will earn 3.6 PRE per day if you do the max number of searches. This means that it will take you 278 days of making 30 searches a day to earn a 1000 PRE tokens – even then you probably will not be able to withdraw. This is because you need 1000 ELIGIBLE tokens as mentioned, which is different than what is showed to you at the top of the browser.

What are eligible tokens?

Your eligible tokens depend on your Presearch level – of which there are 10. There is an algorithm that decides which level you are, and it is important for your rewards. The levels are as follows:

PRE-Level = Tokens eligible for withdrawal
Level 8–10: 100%
Level 7: 70%
Level 6: 60%
Level 5: 50%
Level 4: 40%
Level 3: 30%
Level 2: 20%
Level 1: 10%
Level 0: None

So, if you are deemed a good user by the algorithm (Level 8-10), you will be able to withdraw all of your tokens. But if you are level 6 (like I am), you are only allowed to withdraw 60% of your tokens – this even though I am using Presearch legitimately and only search for things that I need.  It also means that it is going to take a lot longer to even earn 1000 eligible tokens.

Further still, it raises the question if you can legitimately even make 30 searches per day without losing levels. So, you may be searching 30 a day and earning the max tokens – but the algorithm may think you are cheating and demote you. Meaning that your tokens will not be worth as much since you will be a lower level.  

It may take 278 to accumulate 1000 reward tokens but it may take 2x that to earn 1000 eligible tokens that you are actually able to withdraw.
