I've been trading crypto for more than 2 years now and I really proud to be part of that ecosystem !
I started very slowly by copying the trades of someone else with a very low amount of BTC. At first, it was with less than 50$ in Bitcoin and started to earn more and more.
With time and thanks to all the advices provided in the charts analysis I was watching, I started to develop a real methodology of trading !
Here is the main advices I learnt (some of them the hard way...) :
- No one has a crystal ball, just follow the chart
- If you're not using a Stop Loss and Take Profit, you're not a trader and you'll end up losing your money
- Risk Management has to drive your trading process
- A good trader leaves a losing trade early and a winning one as late as possible
- It is ok to lose 10 trades with risk management enabled because a good trade will cover them all
- Don't be a weak hand, trust your analysis and never end a trade manually
Those are the advices that made me grow as a trader and now, my trading portfolio is worth 10 times more than at the beginning !
So in this blog post, I would like to thank CMA for the time you spend every day, teaching us about Eliot waves and the basics of risk management (which is the most important after all !)
To go further, I would say that this Risk Management methodology can be applied to life in general but that's not the point of this post.
What are the key tips you learnt in crypto trading ? In crypto in general ?
Tell me in the comment section !
Thanks for reading !
