MasterQuest - Turn-Based Blockchain RPG

Hi blockchain gamers!

Today we’re excited to announce MasterQuest, a brand new turn-based RPG built on the WAX blockchain that runs in your browser. Of course, a blockchain game wouldn’t be a blockchain game without ownership so we made nearly every mechanic of MasterQuest work with an ownable asset. From characters to items to the monsters you face, we wanted to create a game that could appeal to all types of player to earn gamers.

There are 2 ways to play MasterQuest: as a Hero or as a Monster.

Hero

As the hero, you play with an NFT character of class type Archer, Warrior or Mage and fight monsters to collect currency tokens and NFTs as equipables. Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do with a character NFT:

Character NFTs continually improve as a player fights more monsters to gain experience. Characters level up as they gain experience and each level adds extra stat points.
Players can receive a free character NFT and start playing right away or buy a paid character NFT for 30 WAX that will offer certain perks like the much sought-after luck bonus.
Slayed monsters have a chance to drop items, weapons and spells as NFTs and will always drop some amount of currency. Items like armor or weapons can be equipped to increase the player’s defense or damage.
Players can combine NFT items to upgrade them.

Monster

As a monster owner, you earn rewards passively whenever a player with a character NFT fights your monster.

Players can own monster NFTs and will be rewarded every time someone fights their monster. Monsters owners benefit when their monsters are selected by more players. Monsters also gain experience with each battle, allowing them to grow over time and bring in more rewards.cc

NFT Sales

Our first sale has officially kicked off with the launch of this article. You can purchase character NFT claims for 30 WAX or register to claim your 1 free NFT right now. Once we finalize attribute distributions for characters, we’ll allow players to redeem their claims for NFTs.

Character NFTs

Characters can be one of three class types: Archer, Warrior and Mage. Each character also has five attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, Intelligence and Luck. There will be two types of character NFTS: free and paid.
