Keybase Stellar AIRDROP - a failed project?

As most of you already know, Keybase had an agreement with the Stellar foundation on airdropping 2 billion Lumens to all of Keybase users. What went wrong?

The answer is very simple, too many fake accounts registered, just to be able to receive their part of the AIRDROP. Me personally participated in the AIRDROP, and the first time I got about 45€ worth of stellar, but the second AIRDROP I got only 17€.

So, only 300 million XLM were airdropped, but what happens to the rest of the Lumens?

Well, according to some people, it is very probably that the Stellar foundation will make an agreement with some other companies, in order to distribute the XLM.

We can only wait and see what happens next.
