"The mirror is the only place a man should look to place blame."

"The mirror is the only place a man should look to place blame."

I've gone through many different smaller, but equally, larger life events throughout the years that I've picked up on cryptocurrencies, side hustle culture - whatever the fuck you wanna call it, I'm just saying that I've had skin in the game and have been focused on one thing and one thing alone; consistency.

Consistency has been something I've had issues with in my personal life and I allowed for it to bleed into the other things that I actively enjoy doing.

Crypto is one of them, kind of.

I used to gamble, and gamble a fair amount to my standards, but because of that - that's why I was able to afford to do certain things.

I was in a 4 year long relationship that had ended while I was about halfway through a lease.

I hit for $10,000 on a $250 deposit.

Yay.

Most of that went to paying off the final months of my old lease, establishing a new place of residence, 1st months rent, groceries - all of the typical shit that you'd normally have to pay for.

The reasoning behind paying off the lease was due to me getting into a new relationship, admittedly, fairly quickly.

7 months after beginning the relationship, we separated. It was devastating, but only on one side, you can imagine which side that it was lol.

It's life.

Relationships come and go, the same way that hobbies, and attention comes and goes.

It's just something that happened to me, but doesn't define me.

All of this being said to tie it in directly with some of my beliefs.

I believe firmly that everybody's able to make it, but it comes down to the dedication that the person themselves have. I believe you have to have a certain amount of delusion for you to believe that you're going to be any more successful than the peers around you, or those you look up to.

I view myself the same as any other person, but I know that I'm a more unique displayed being in comparison to others. Does that make me better?
Dude, fuck no lol.

I'm just a 25 year old adult trying to figure this shit out and make it work for my own standards.

What are my standards?

Dedicate time and attention and focus on myself and my weight loss journey.

I started at 270 LBS way back in 2019.

I got down to 210 LBS in 2020, and entered a relationship.

As most others do, I gained some weight back.

Then bam, back to 240 LBS.

My journey began the day everything dissipated.

July 18th, 2026.

Starting point?
240.

Goal?
200.

I weighed in at 225 LBS today and have no intentions on stopping until I've proven to myself how important it is, as a man, to stay true to your word.

I grew up without a father figure and was forced to figure it out by myself.

I didn't figure it out. I didn't have a good redirection. I had a bad upbringing. Fucking yadda yadda yadda dude, we all could make reasons and excuses for whatever we want to in life.

That doesn't define me.

My actions and my character does.
