The Litecoin Foundation has acted as an executive producer for the recently released satanic heavy metal-themed comedic horror movie "We Summon the Darkness." 3. China to Speed Up Blockchain Adoption with New Huawei Partnership
China's tech hub is betting big on blockchain and other bleeding-edge technologies. According to The Global Times, the outlet that is considered to be the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of China The government of the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, a city in southeastern China, has inked a deal with telecommunications behemoth Huawei to propel the adoption of blockchain technology. 4. Binance.US to Launch Tezos Staking Rewards This Week
As Tezos (XTZ) staking has apparently been getting more popular in recent months, the service will be soon available on another cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. Binance.US, the U.S. arm of the worldâs biggest crypto exchange, Binance, will launch staking rewards this week. Binance.US will launch staking rewards for XTZ on Thursday, April 16. 5. Huobi's Crypto Transaction Monitor Will Automatically Freeze Suspicious Accounts
Huobi Group today announced the launch of Star Atlas, a proprietary on-chain analytics tool to monitor on-chain cryptocurrency transactions for illicit activities. The new tool aims to create a safer trading environment and ease regulator concerns that cryptocurrencies are easily manipulated by criminals. The new program, will automatically freeze accounts deemed to be engaging in âsuspiciousâ transactions until a compliance officer follows up on the case. 6. Gemini Will Add Support for Dai, Chainlink Trading This Month
The Gemini cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform is adding support for three more tokens on April 24. Gemini announced the addition of trading pairs featuring Dai (DAI), Chainlink (LINK), and Orchid (OXT) in a blog post on April 9. The new additions will bring the total number of tradable tokens on Gemini's platform up to nine. This includes the Peopleâs Bank of China (PBOC) Digital Currency Research Institue, MIIT, Tencent, ZheÂjiang UniÂverÂsity and Baidu.
