How many of us have googled something only to see ads for it on other platforms and apps?

It's downright scary right? How sometimes even when you're speaking to someone about a subject and it's in an ad somewhere else.

Well, Presearch is trying to change how we interact with that dynamic.

As users, we are ultimately the end goal for search engines. Whatever we search can influence everything from commerce to politics. 

A search engine allows a particular entity to peer into the aggregate mindset of any given population, or specific subset of demographics.

The point is, they're always making money off your searches. VPNs be damned.

Presearch rewards you for that data, directly.  This is done by paying you, for each term that search in Pre. There is a limit to how many searches you can get paid for. It resets per month. And there is a minimum amount you need to reach to withdraw the Pre in your account. See pics below. 

This reminds me Basic Attention Coin's business model. Advertisers send an ad through Brave browser and you're rewarded for viewing it BAT.

But this, could be more curated in a sense that you are searching for a particular term directly, vs having Brave make a suggestion based on your search.

Another really fun aspect, which I hope, won't get sunk right away is the key word staking aspect.

If you own a small business and need exposure, this could be the best possible scenario for you. If the momentum of new users coming in contiunes, you'll have a chance to reach millions of people for pennies compared to google ad words.

As of this article being written, its PRE is ~$0.09. And to stake into a specific word, even at 10,000 pre, that's 900 to corner a search word market. And that's on the upper side. The most expensive search term I encountered was Bitcoin for 600,000 + Pre.

Full disclosure, I bought a nice chunk of Pre just got the ability to run a node. But not at home. See disclaimers below. So I am bullish on the project due to BAT's recent all time high valuations. If buying keywords, Pre token becomes the standard or "google" of its DeFi counterparts, AND user adoption continues to grow, I can sleep comfortably knowing demand for PRE will continue to go up. At 400M Pre in circulation and 500M total supply, it's MAX supply is 1/3 of Basic Attention Coins' current circulating and max supply. For those who are the scarcity-nauts among us. Even better, they burnt half the tokens in circulation. Any reverse split fans out here?

You can run a node by staking 1000+ pre into the node module. I have to say this next part because Presearch does have some disclaimer about how the incoming web traffic will somehow be tied to your IP address. So if some one who is really imbalanced searches something, and its processed / routed through your node, the authorities will be knocking on your door? Think people searching for horrific events before the event happens. I'm not quite sure if running a node at home is the best scenario for this... even their disclaimer says the same.

And the end of the day, $100 = 1000 Pre tokens. If I lose, it's $100. If I win, it's usually a nice chunk of change. It really depends on how far you believe the project will go. But as a early / first mover in the space, it's got my attention (pun intended) as having potential. I just wish I had a website (or small business) to draw attention to, using Presearch keyword staking. Because right now, it may as well be free to advertise on it. This won't last.

Last but not least, it's on ethereum. So be weary of gas fees as you move your Pre tokens to and from exchanges / wallets. Those gas fees will eat into your profits like crazy. Hail unto Caesar right?
