A relationship requires commitment and these days many people go into a relationship with an escape route in mind. They are already thinking of how to exit a relationship they barely started which brings me to ask, why did you go into it in the first place?

Never go into a relationship out of pity. Never go into a relationship due to pressure or for the fear of what will people say? This is your life we are talking about and every failed relationship takes a bit of you away and you might go all through life searching for it.

It is okay to love and lost. Never allow your life to be defined by who left you and this is why it is valuable to surround yourself with the best kind of people. There is never a crime in loving someone and the relationship didn't quite work out. Wait until you are ready. There is no rush. Your friend is in a relationship? Good for that friend but never feel pressured to want to 'belong' by accepting just anyone into your life. This is your life we are talking about and the kind of person you accept into your life speaks volume as to how much you love yourself.

How do you find yourself when the love that you think you have is lust? How do you pick yourself up again when that love is finally lost?
