When they try to bring you down
When they wag their tongues at you
When you are left all alone by yourself
And the voice of doubters ring so loud
Learn to grow a thick skin over their words
It takes conscious efforts to do this, really
When they try to bring you down, remind yourself
Remind yourself of who you are and your abilities
Know that your life is your choice and you decide
It is not what they say about you that matters
It is what you say to yourself when they are done
When they try to sell you short, give no discount
When they try to rip you apart, try and stand tall
Silence win more wars than your gun could ever do
When they try to throw you under the bus
Stand up, take the wheel and drive them around
It takes maturity to rise up when they try to pin you down
The lovely pictures we took on Sunday to spice up the poem... 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩

Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
