See the needy with nothing to feed on,

the helpless with nothing to clothe on.

See your neighbours, with little salary figures,

feel the pains of the childless widow, whose sweats drops thickly before getting a piece of bread to eat.

Take a look at yourself,

though little it may seem,

but you are clothed and fed,

with a healthy and safe place for shelter,

and your hope shines brighter daily.

See those who sleep under the bare clouds,

with no doors, no windows, no warmth,

the sun scorches them, the rain lashes them with its rods,

unlike you, whose skin, the sun caresses,

whose head, the rain anoints.

Life is all about caring for the needy,

being kind and compassionate on the helpless,

sharing a gift of a smile goes a long way too,

in raising the heights of hopes and better days.
