It's hard to know which effort will bring the most reward
One thing I know is, life just want us to be a diligent steward
Most people quit half way and labeled a coward
Because they gave up and looked back when they should keep forward
There are some efforts we never know but can lead us into greatness moving toward
It's hard to know sometimes which one would pay off but we have to keep trying
As we say in Nigeria, "Na who give up mess up" - "Those who give up mess up"
Not because they are being judged wrongly
But I feel it's a message that comes in so strongly
Embedded with a message to keep pushing on proudly
While recognizing that some times things won't go your way soundly
Life is tough and unexpected situations happen to us, just don't stop
Even though you are betrayed by those you hold so dear, just don't stop
Even if you meet brick wall every time you push, just don't stop
Even when you have been rejected more times than your approval, just don't stop
Have you ever wondered how far we still go at the point we feel was the end?
You never truly know what is possible unless you keep trying...
So, just don't stop... It doesn't mean your frustration is invalidated
It only means your resilience would pay off for you when you just don't stop...
