Is the key to happy life simplicity.
Spoilers for love death and robots episode Zima blue.
I just finished watching Zima blue from love death and robots. Too many people hail this is probably the best episode in season 1 . I also love it as well , it's story , message and my GOD! the art style was amazing. I wish I was Zima but then that would be counterintuitive . Defeating The point the espisode is trying to say .
From what I can tell Zima realize over the years that life was happiest when he was just scrubbing the pool, simplicity . You can see this in his artwork, with each passing Artwork the blue art overtake his pieces until they just become blue. His soul was trying to nudge him back to his first form. I love the episode but I'm thinking is this meant for humans?
I seen a lot of comments and interpretation from people saying that this is a metaphor for people in old years and wanting to return back to simple times, like childhoods when everything was carefree etc. Even though that's what you can infer from the show is this the best way to live ,very simple doing mundane task for the rest of your life.

Sometimes my life is simple and let me tell you simplicity can be quite boring. The exestential angst you feel for being aware of the mundane and simply .
Grown Human adults and simple robots are different. I believe that Zima first form was not very smart . He wasn't self aware enough to know the monotony of his task and that's made simple life pleasurable.Same with kids and toddlers , they are not too self aware to contemplate life etc. So everything to them is just pure simple fun. They both don't think about the future constantly.. Life would be pure simple fun if we were all ignorant to nihilism and not constantly thinking about everything. Ignorance is bliss as they say , that's what I think Zima blue 🔵 long for . To return to a state of ignorance. I wish I could revert to there too but alast i can't de-age just yet. Maybe in try future.
Simplicty in life can be joyous, yeah for sure is you didn't think too much about it though.
Thank you for reaching.tell me have you seen this series yet.
