I have not been writing a lot recently, mostly I have been ruminating a lot and maybe this has affected how I enjoyed most of my things, I tend to not enjoy anything if I feel let's just say not best mood mentally.

However, this has been a long time coming with regards to one piece. I find my enjoyment of one piece has been dropping to an all-time low ever since I pick up the series, I am not a die-hard beginner, who started the series in 1997 but I would not say I am a newbie either. 

My start with one piece was around 5-6 years ago, very unclear when I actually start. I loved anime since very young but got back into it almost a decade ago, blah blah blah, etc. since then watch a lot of anime in  spells, and some spells of time that I hardly watch anything, but one piece is one that I think I will finish no matter the outcome. one piece has easily at some point became one of my favorite stories ever.

when was my favorite peak?

i started watching one piece, of course, then I stopped then I picked it back up, carrying past alabasta, etc and then water 7 happened, holy shit, gear 2 was fucking cool against blueno. 

after that, it keep increasing until , marine ford, GOD DAMN， I visibly remember just watching episode after episode binging ，marine ford, Ace father is is GOL D . Roger, I could not even see that coming. fucking Whitebeard and his fight with the marines, Akainu.

Even after that, Fishman island was fun, oh I forgot the epic scenes of conquerors haki, I even watch these clips on youtube again. Caesars arc, where we saw law again and learn about some supernova movements etc. all building up to probably one of my favorites villains in all fiction doflamingo. In the anime I can't even describe how much I love doffy, this guy is wearing a bird suit, things like the way my face looks when he is angry, the VA, his laugh, his fucking abilities, with the string fruit. The clash between him and fluffy over Trafalgar's law head. P.S I wish  law had defeated him instead, But the thing I love about this arc is Gear 4. Gear 4 is one of my favorite power-ups in all of anime. the anime clip of luffy transformation, the sound, the attacks, the design, I fucking love gear 4. I love this arc, of course, there are slight negatives but I love doffy and luffy and gear 4. All this time I was still watching the anime.

then we went to zou and learn more about kaido and zou, the scabbards . before we go any further , Kaido's introduction is the best in the series, when this was shown in the anime, pffff, I was like no one could beat this guy, there is now to write anyone to beat him, he was menacing, the music was great, the look on the worst generation face was exactly how to build him up.

The character i like the most in one piece.

we went past Zou, side note I like zou a lot, the seeing, more things about the world, seeing another worst generation, finally! 

okay let's go. I love whole cake island. i wish it was longer, and Big MOM was more scarier or intimidating, But I like her personality a lot, the fact that she is rampaging and her kids are the ones who look after her is genius. I love that we get more backstory for Sanji. The fight between fluffy and Sanji was rough and I mean in a good way. the islands are amazing, the fact that BEGE tried to assassinate big mom. I regret that during one piece, we didn't get more arcsa just seeing the worst generation go out and fight other people in the world. and even other crews in the world. We saw another part of gear 4, tank-man. this is what made me love gear 4, the fact that it has a lot of versions and luffy has to decide what one to use, based on the opponent. 

I love anime fight when tactics are involved and characters have to use what they have in interesting ways to fight different opponents. Honestly, whole cake was great, I wish big mom had a better showing of how terrifying, she could be, I would also like Bege to fight a Yonko commander and Sanji.

then we get the the character I like most.

if you thought it was anyone except katakuri , then you are not a one-piece fan. it had to be katakuri. from now until i die everytime i eat donuts or think of mochi , i think oof katakuri. Oda made katakuri super likable, just by revealing his secret that he like donuts, Katajuri could have just been a cool guy, a bro-type character ,but no.  I got a bit spoiled on snake man vs katakuri but everything about that fight even when I finally it, I lost my shit. the way katakuri fights is cool, with Luffy's use of snake-man, I wish the fight had lasted longer and we see them try new abilities closing out the climax. But still amazing 🤩 with katakuri.

wano

when I got the wano, is where the anime had stopped, so that's when I started reading weekly, so that's like 3 years now. i started engaging with the online one-piece community as well.

Wano has a lot of things right, scenery, the backstory of Oden, 🤔 , and the first time Luffy lost to kaido. the fact that there are a lot of worst generation characters here. But we didn't explore their backstory, that's a letdown. I don't understand why Oda does not have them explain their backstory.

okay let's talk about it, Kaido luffy and gear 5.

Okay, wano setup is above average, I think it was a bit too fast to head of right after whole cake island, it makes the world seem small. the one piece world is supposed to be vast, but right after whole cake, we went to wano. ahmmn where do I go from here, the first rooftop fight with all five supernova is great, can't wait for that to get animated. something I realized as I keep reading is that kaido will never get to the level of doflamingo or katakuri for me. he has a good design. the reason why i like one piece a lot is also the unique character design each character has. kaido's backstory could raise that a bit but his fighting style is too boring for me to care, I really hate big guys just swinging weapons as a fighting style unless it is done uniquely. there are hardly any tactics in this fight. let's face it one piece is not known for any fighting tactics, but katakuri and doffy fights had some in it.

Kaido , mood swing thing personality , does not work for me. i wish Kaido was just pure destruction, Not bland but terrifying, i wanted that Luffy is too overwhelmed to fight kaido ,type of aura. honestly if a lot of the worst generation tag team kaido and died , then the arc ended, that would be great. Even the second time he fought and died should have been over. you know what also ruin it, the fact that the stupid scabbards haven't died. Every time kaido stands over anyone, we should just be thinking "okay that's a wrap, they are dead". they should be dead, like this is the worst shape anyone in one has been , like a horror movie.

• Kaido should feel like the final boss of everyone in the one-piece world. Luffy should not be able to fight him. i hate when, especially in anime, main characters overcome, massive gaps between them and a villain in short periods. unless it is a change in battle tactics that the readers can see, then it does not work. Luffy has no business getting anywhere  close to beating kaido, this should be a wrap. How is this fighting still continuing.
• Remember how I said gear 4 is one of my favorite powerups ever, yeah well gear 5 is the complete opposite, right now, I am sure when it is animated it would look cool, somewhat... 
• So how does he activate gear 5... Eh? die. haha really, his devil fruit out of nowhere was a mythical zoan really. 

he didn't even train or think of a new way to use this fruit and suddenly he is Nika, the same god we just heard about 2 chapters ago from Cat guy CP0.

• the other forms look really cool, they had one specific function making them unique. 
• what the fuck does gear 5 do? I still don't know .. Everything. 

Somehow he has a god Living inside him, did Luffy get possessed. I don't know, he is laughing, turning a high stakes fight into a comedy. i hate when things are not expressed as to how they are supposed to feel. this is supposed to be the ultimate stakes fight , it should feel like it, dread, don't know if the character actually will lose . We should all be feeling the dread coming from the pages. I don't feel any dread. Remember when Luffy broke the mirror in the mirror world. Holy shit. And then be processed to get pummeled by katakuri . Then pretended to say he is fine, when we know ,"Luffy you are in over your head." What happened to that 😂.

•  the design is very uninspiring. look at gear 4, the stripes the black covering, the fact that some parts of his body have tension coils.
