Every country has their weather condition and season. Nigeria is a beautiful country blessed with diverse vegetation and climates, a country that is blessed with two seasons , The rainy season ( wet season ) and the dry season. Understanding these seasons help the farmers , travelers, business men plan effectively. Even those that have a big event to be hosted mostly fixed their events with respect to these two seasons.
The rainy season is characterized by frequent rainfall, cold weather, greener vegetation and farmers make use of this season a lot. This season starts around April to October . While the dry season starts around November to March, then between December and January we do experience harmattan. This dry season is characterized by hot temperature , dusty temperature .
But of recent things are really changing, you experience heat when you are supposed to feel cold, and we see rain when it's supposed to be dry season. Well, it's all the handwork of God , but human activities also contributes to it. Like the depletion of ozon layer might also be a contributory factor to all these change of weather. Funny enough as at last year, in the Southern part of Nigeria and some part of the south east , it was still raining by November , December that is always known as the dry season. Even early January that we do feel harmmatan , we didn't see it, but the weather is always warm even after the rain.
So recently, we have had a lot of confusing climate change and as I keep saying, nobody can query God, because he does his own thing in his own way. Also a lot of human activities should be chakemate to ensure that we don't really suffer from the harsh weather conditions. Frequent, gas flaring is observed in this part of the world since it's a oil producing area. And this gas flaring is done very close to residential areas and not properly done. Therefore, all these actions tends to affect the weather too and thereby leading to frequent change in weather condition.
