What do you see? Problem. And which exactly?; the one to solve or the one to run from? Oh! You just feel someone else should get that done.
Did you love mathematics? I guess a lot of us didn't. Majority wanted to escape solving problems. And how did you just endure the entire process just trusting it will at some point fade away. Some decided to venture in the art department just to d away and others choosed or more less calculation course or career to follow.
Did it work out, I mean the strategy to evade calculations? A yes and a yes. The calculations reduced but as from problem solving, no, you can't just escape it. When you come to realize that your value is tagged to problem solving.
Even if we are to just talk about you and yourself, you will have to solve problems to keep yourself going. Then come to talk about the massive society.
In short, if you choose to ignore solving problems, you will end up being obsolete and you can't blame anyone for that. In a world of over 8 billion people looking for who to resolve their present and later problems, you can't just risk being of no value.
Why should they pay you? My early phase of entrepreneurship did not capture some top secrets. The entire idea was just to set up a business and make my money. At least I can say it was a starting point that will later lead to the next.
What did I figure out later? An entrepreneur is one who sees and solves problems. Of course you can't be selling a particular product or rendering a particular service but you are not solving the problem as you want to.
Competing smart can be your edge in business. What are people complaining of about this current product? How many are complaining about it? And how much are they going to be willing to pay if I take extra steps?
This is about value analysing and worth. So two hotels can run in the same street and accommodate the same number of customers daily but their profit margin isn't the same. Did you even realize that a resolve problem in the long run attracts another problem.
For instance, using the hotel business, people just needed a place to rest their head at first and after this was resolved, there was a later problem of having an in-room internet access and those that spot it and work towards it on time will stay in progress.
It was one of those things I had to spot out from my current in. One thing was spotting the problem and another thing is to solve the problem that will help solve the later problem. When people don't see what you see, that's a problem to start with.
How do you face being ignored; is it that your vision is wrong or you are yet to connect with just the right people. In the end, you will have to solve the entire problem.
