Are those raindrops the tears of a crying earth? The one that gave life when given birth?
Why? Why are you crying? Is it because you are dying? Was it something we did? Something we said?
We cannot live if you are dead!
I Am crying. Because part of me is dying. Oh, how my thunder rolls!
And with my very last breath, I shall release death, with no mercy on your souls!
It's when you feel my wind, that my wrath will begin, your mind will soon be blown,
I'll snatch your ego, it can't go where we go, to the depths of the unknown.
I'll shake the whole ground, with a single sound, you'll feel my pain beneath your feet,
I'll inhale your last breath, you'll slip into death,
As I free you from deceit.
As you start to fall, you'll see all that you saw, your life will flash before you,
You'll swim through stars, to galaxies afar, and your conscious will be anew.
Now, shhh. Listen for the tune, of the man in the moon, as it echoes through the cosmos,
Its lullaby will make you cry, and we're not even there, just almost.
When you see the ledge of horizon's edge, we'll sit and look below.
So much hate, they can't see their fate, but it's clearer from up here, yes, I know.
They ask for a sign, as they sip on their wine, then pray it comes in their sleep,
They lay their heads, on their satin beds, While children sleep outside on concrete.
And so I die, a little more each time, as Luna plays her sweet, sweet song,
I rain tears of sadness, then release my madness, though disregarded all along.
They can't even see, that the storm within me Was the sign, though they so opposed,
But then, one can't see what's meant to be, if he's looking with both eyes closed.
