This article was made out of effort, sweat and tears. In summary I will try to predict next industry breakthroughs that one who want to experience the next 25 years from now on may expect.
Furthermore I want to pinpoint that even on best scenarios no one can accurately predict all possible scenarios that life may arise in this kind of time span. Any statements made here are most based on beliefs, self-knowledge, study and on my own experiences. Always account for human errors and try to consider worst outcomes when making critical decisions, as you are and always will be the main character of your history and the master of your own destiny.
Also, I want to point out that I took many years to come to realize most of what I wrote here. The final version of this article was somewhat time-intensive and took a modest number of re-reads, re-edits and reflection
While writing this article, I also assume most readers share similar thoughts and may have ideas that match my own beliefes.
I also encourage the reader, to share their own points of view and personal thoughts about these topics at end of this article, so we can improve ideas that are shared here and grow as a strong-minded community.
With that said, I want to provide an introductory canvas to the reader so you can get a bit more contextualized as well as to make sure we can start these topics on the same page: in the last decades, as everyone already known, humanity was able to make such advancements in every possible field in a way that the sole act of living is not anywhere near as close as it where before. To be more precise, while technology advancements evolved at an increasing fast-pace, all industries attached to their corresponding use cases evolved as well. All these changes where consolidated by the most basic capitalistic game rule: you earn what you work for.
At present state of the society as a hive-minded entity, this work just well enough. I'm a proud capitalist myself, but with no focus on political parties or ideologies, I must say that the society may metamorphose at some time to a socialist-fashion community. Although this prediction does not account for the 25 year time span, we can dig deeper and discuss more on that later on.
To provide some more information about myself so you can make up your own thoughts about what I wrote here and get inside my own context, I am a 33 old guy, divorced from my wife and father of a beautiful 9 years old daughter. I can say that I used to think about the future as a pessimistic person. My father died not so long ago. Friends turn back on you, also your wife. You almost die twice, once by drowning, another by gunpoint, yet you live. As a pessimistic person, it took me a while for a change of point lookout, yet I managed it. One fact I can tell about it: People are tough as hell. They don't want to just live, people want to enjoy living, experience it and have the most of each piece it has to offer. We can even go further and say that it's embedded on our genes, and adapted to our own environment.
As a father, I have to confess that I do care about the future. I spent quite a few time trying to realize and understand the major facts that 'bounds, ties and glues' people together. Yet, what I really found is that there are none, if any. All I can say is that self-care and self-preservation goes further and beyond ego, status quo and self-validation. Everyone loves to destroy and yet none aims for mutual destruction and most of time this is what hold all individuals together. As outcome, society won't hammer itself to death in a crazy conspiracy or schema, since each member of it act as a domino's piece. With that in mind, while the pessimist may find this as an no-win end-game match, the optimistic may see the glass with plenty amount of water. Life itself has being alive as it first and more important evolutionary attribute.
Without more gibberish and moving forward, now i expect we to be at least close to the same page. Humanity has come a long way since the discovery of fire and stone weapons, and in a blink of no-time, we have reached unprecedented life-changing transformations in every-day aspect of our life. You want to talk to a friend or co-worker that is sitting on a bench of a coffee shop in another country? Say no more, that sits somewhere near to no-cost with internet.
Even with that, we have managed to go a little farther in last few years, and organize data and knolowdge in such a way that artificial intelligence become a every-day-tool we can use in reality, straight from movie scenes.
Main breakthroughs to be expected for the next 25 years are on nanotechnology and nano robotics, automation of production and services and at most the start of a economy global initiative moving towards a border-less (aka. as a border-agnostic) global bank system.
With that said:
Medicine breakthroughs,
Cheaper products / services
If machines have all jobs, who can pay for what machines produces?
I may come later to keep writing and editing this article. Hope some enjoy.
