According to a this article by Gamereactor there are talks of a Mass effect trilogy launching this fall. 

If this is true it can start a new trend of EA launching remasters of their games, which EA in the past has clearly said no to.

Also the past few days we have seen several of EA games appearing on Steam along with the promise that EA play will be available on steam as soon as possible.

If Mass effect remaster does indeed launch this will also launch the talks of Dead Space remaster which along with Mass Effect have been highly requested by fans.
