In this first blog post, I'm going to start by explaining what is DeFi and why it's so important.
DeFi means Decentralized Finance, but what's that exactly?
It started with the idea of creating a financial instrument on the blockchain, that is decentralized and independent from companies and governments.
The most famous DeFi network it's the Ethereum network, but now we also have the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) network. But we'll talk more about that in another post.
