Buying your first NFT, a couple things to think about. Consider the marketplace, there are suddenly many options. I personally recommend OpenSea, it’s user friendly, has strong financial backing, and many artists and artworks to pick from. The second thig to consider is the ARTIST, this is a big one, if you want your new purchase to hold up and be worth something over time. Do a little research… are you buying form a legit artist? Or are you buying from a 13-year-old kid out to make a quick buck? I’m quite surprised as the NFT market booms, how many want to Be’s have discovered Microsoft Paint and learned how to copy-cut-paste their way into creating a so called NFT. Does the artist have a decent body of work? How long has the artist been making art? Is he/she/they/them the kind of artist worth supporting? Once you have carefully selected your prized artwork, it’s time to brag up your purchase. Every artist out there will greatly appreciate the efforts to promote their work.
