SFL is the native utility token used in the Land of Sunflowers. It is required for crafting tools and for farm expansion. The quickest way to earn SFL is to grow crops and trade them through the in-game shop.

To get started in Sunflower Land, you will need to follow a few steps:
- Create a Wallet: The first thing you need to do is create a wallet on the blockchain. You will need a Metamask wallet and connect your account to the Polygon blockchain.
- Fund your wallet: To mint your farm and other in-game items, you’ll need the native $MATIC token on Polygon. Make sure you fund your portfolio with enough $MATIC to get started.
- Create an Account and Play: Once your wallet has been set up and funded, you can mint your account and start playing Sunflower Land.

Another use of crops is to cook food. As you progress through the game, you will have to make choices. Sell the crops or use them for food?
To progress through the game and improve your ability to earn more SFLs, you’ll need to level up your Bumpkin. To do this, just click on your Bumpkin and select the food to eat.
Expand your land
As you start leveling up, you will find that you need more land. More grow points, better resources and more space for your NFTs.
At the start of the game you are given 3 plots of land. Additional land is available if the required conditions are met. Apart from the first few levels, which are predefined, all terrain expansions are random.
This means that you can get a tree, farmland or rare gold.
Expanding land requires different resources than the Bumpkins. To expand, you need to farm resources such as wood, stone, and iron.
To get the tools you need to cut down trees and mine stone, you need to unlock the blacksmith. For this it is necessary that your Bumpkin evolves to level 3.
Each tool requires a slightly higher number of resources than the previous one. For example, an ax requires some SFL, a pickaxe requires some SFL and some wood.
Once you have the necessary resources, it’s time to expand the land. This process coins a new NFT which is then linked to your farm. Your assets are all stored on the Blockchain in your Web3 Wallet.
