Do NFTs have an actual value? Do they do an actual “thing” — in essence, have a real use-case — not just PFPs or minted JPEGs?

Gaming and NFTs have become a perfect match, and that match seems to be going strong, with solid NFT games now having tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of daily players. Some NFT gaming projects have reached market capitalization of billions of dollars.
An NFT game, or blockchain-based game, is a game where your gaming characters are uniquely yours, verifiable on the blockchain, and used in the game for battles, breeding or any other activity available in the game. A solid NFT game, like Warena, offers in-game character build-up and upgrades, giving your NFT room to grow in strength, in ability and in value.
Warena is a great game where your NFTs are used in the game to battle enemies; you earn cryptocurrency as you battle enemies and defeat them. As you play and earn and build up your NFT characters, they become stronger to take on more difficult challenges and thereby earning you higher rewards. Your NFT characters make you money, and also increase in their tradeable value — an absolute win-win for the gamer.
NFTs can be traded on Warena’s marketplace; the more leveled-up and rarer your NFT characters are, the higher bids they will likely get on the marketplace.
Warena is also working on a 3D Metaverse where NFT characters from other collections/games can be imported into Warena’s metaverse. There will also be a customizable NFT character feature where you would be able to build your own perfect character — a first-of-its-kind and an interesting use-case when fully implemented. Think of crossover game characters as your NFTs not being restricted to a particular game or ecosystem; for example, if Bored Apes NFTs were NFT characters in another game’s ecosystem, you would be able to import Bored Apes into Warena’s metaverse and use it in the metaverse to play, battle and interact.
Warena’s NFTs currently come in Mystery Boxes, available on Warena’s Marketplace https://marketplace.warena.io. When you purchase a mystery box and open it, you would find an NFT character that can be used in the game to battle and earn rewards.
