The first governance proposal on Uniswap is currently underway, with DeFi platform Dharma behind the first proposal, according to a tweet posted on October 13.

• The proposal sees the governance community vote on quorum and proposal thresholds, which currently only favours whales 
• If successful, the proposal submission threshold will drop from 10 million to 3 million UNI, and the quorum value will drop from 40 million to 30 million UNI
• At the current price of UNI, eligible parties for voting would require roughly $34 million in staked assets to participate
• An overwhelming majority (30,489,907) have voted in favour of the change, while only a small number (625,476) have voted against it
