Presearch shut down yesterday 07/24/2026
After my morning walk and coffee I went to search for something using my default search engine 'presearch' and to my surprise I learned that last night presearch had shutdown. See I was directed to a page indicating as much! Their site warned that I must withdraw my 'pre' tokens prior to losing them on 07/27/2026. After stumbling around the presearch website I discovered I don't have any 'pre' tokens to withdraw. So after 6-years of use I only have 'search stake tokens' and none have been validated with withdraw as actual pre tokens.
At this point I got this sick feeling that after my customer loyalty to the presearch engine since early 2020 timeframe I will not have anything to show for it other than less mega search engine tracking and fewer ads over the years.
Summary
At this point I feel like I lost my crypto dust to the dust bin of time. No warning from Presearch! Crypto is evolving for certain as an early concept passed away! I did not earn enough to even withdraw my tokens thus the 27th' deadline will pass without major impact to my or my crypto journey. Stay frosty my friends!
