MetaMask expands Mastercard in USA
The last few years we have all experienced first hand how self custody credit cards come and go. I believe we are at a turning point as MetaMask expands Mastercard in USA. Last week MetaMask proudly announced all 50 US states now accept their MetaMask Mastercard. Recall on of the largest holdouts was New York.
The MetaMask Credit card links to your custody wallet
This means your funds are now available to use at a retailer like any other bank issued credit card. Don't go overboard its not like a debit card, in that you can spend more than you have in your wallet...creating a payment issue. Think fee's, finds etc.
Costs
Yes, this Mastercard comes with a $195.00 annual fee. That fee elevates your status to Premium Metal Tier which comes w/ bonus rewards. You need to weigh out is it possible to get enough out of the card to warrant the fee. That is NOT financial advice just applying some common sense to a fancy card in your physical wallet.
