Crypto Odds & Sods for Week of Oct 17
Exciting week for Crypto enthusiasts w/ lots of action to review:
US 1st Crypto ETF - went parabolic by trading over 1M options in first 2-days, and neared top limits by Friday. Rumors have been flying that a second US Crypto ETF run by Valkyrie was going to be approved by Friday 10/22/21, however, I did not see anything stating this came to fruition. I wrote a Blog about the US Crypto ETF Journey - https://www.publish0x.com/new-to-cryptos/us-wakes-up-approves-first-crypto-etf-xpngjox
Walmart has quietly installed 500 Crypto ATM's across its US Store footprint (Keep in mind Walmart has 5,339 stores in USA alone) so 500 is not quite 10% of stores. Still we have to start getting the word out somehow.
BTC - put in a new ATH w/ brief hit at $67K, then over past two days lost 8% of value. Still thinking $120K is in by Christmas?
ETH - put in a new ATH w/ $4,366.09 - WooHoo, I am routing for it to hit $10K by year - fingers and toes crossed whose with me?
Solana (SOL) broke through the $200 price point w/ Intraday high of $209. Up 35% for past 7-days. Nice solid price action and huge TVL locked increased dramatically too.
Chainlink (LINK) had Associated Press (AP) admit it will Run a Chainlink Node To Guarantee the Reliability Of Its Data. LINK continues to improve and bring in Big Name accounts running nodes.
Houston Fire Fighters Pension fund to invest $25M in Crypto to avoid missing further huge gains in this market.
Meanwhile in the dumpster fire that is the USA Economy:
- Cotton costs are up 47% YTD, and hit a fresh 10-year high
- Silver broke through the 50 Day and 100 Day moving averages -
- Nickel Prices Jump To Seven-Year High As Supply Chain Woes Mount
- Aluminum Shortages are up next As "Magnesium Supply Dries Up"
- The wealthiest in America own 89% of the Stock market value, probably nothing! Look a squirrel!
Buckle Up, I think we are in for a Crypto Sprint to year end w/ potentially HUGE gains across the entire sphere. May you be properly positioned my friends.
Until more fun next week...
