Costco to start positioning BTC ATM in stores

What is Costco

Costco One of America's premier Big Box stores stated in early Feb. Costco is installing Bitcoin ATMs across its entire retail network, offering millions of Americans easier access to digital currency.  Not being familiar with Costco as I shop one of their rivals, I dug into them, they 600 stores nationwide, though it is unclear how many of its locations have the ATMs installed at this time.

Who will provide the BTC ATMs?

ATM provider LibertyX who is a Georgia-based LibertyX ATMs provider. Where they already have their BTC ATMs in CVS and Walgreens stores across the country.  More history LibertyX , back In 2014, LibertyX launched America’s first cash-to-bitcoin kiosk in Boston and now say it operates more than 30,000 ATMs and retail stores in 44 states.

Will this lead to the next Crypto ATM race?

I believe we are still early in the entire adoption cycles. However, retail stores offering Crypto to bring ease of use and familiarity to Crypto are essential for widespread adoption.

Summary

Big Box or your neighborhood pharmacy stores are on the leading edges of offering Crypto to the masses. I for one will be monitoring their expanded uses cases and adoption rates. From which I hope to bring you more of both. Stay tuned.
