Introducing the New Motorola g fast

Not only is she a Beauty; She's a Beast
A great budget phone by Motorola. Right now it is $89.99 at Boost Mobile so If you can pick this one up on sale even better!
Features 4gLTE and 32gb on board storage with expandable micro sd.
Android 10 works amazing on this device. This is as close to bare bones Android that you can get. No bloat keeps the OS running fast, and the UI clean.
It's fast, really fast. I can have at least ten apps open, and multiple webpages, and it doesn't miss a beat. I actually prefer it to my Chromebook!
The screen size is just right at 6.4" , and coupled with the new adaptive features of Android 10 it makes typing on this device a pleasure.
The Motorola gestures feature is also very helpful. There are multiple customizations , and even options to change the Theme, that include fonts, colors, icon shapes, etc all without having to leave the device!
All of the security features are here, including a rear finger print scanner, and the latest up to date Motorola security patches.
The call quality is excellent. So far the 4gLTE reception has been great. Much better than my previous Motorola smartphone, the Moto e5 plus.
It comes with a USB C rapid charger, but Motorola's Turbo charger also works with it.
The battery lasts at least 48hrs , and I am on it non stop. I average anywhere between 5hr - 12hr screen-on time surfing the web, streaming videos, and writing blog posts, etc.
Audio and video quality are acceptable, especially for the price point.
I actually like the bottom fire speaker, and there are audio options if you want to customize for music, movies, etc.
The 16 megapixel rear camera is actually really good considering the price of the device, and it takes excellent pictures. It has multiple options, with macro, wide lens, and slow motion video.
The only cons I have experienced are that the Wifi antenna seems to be a little weak, and the colors of the display aren't as vibrant as my previous Motorola g phone.
I also found storage capacity to a little small for my liking. While I have been able to get by without expanding it , some people might want to opt for a micro sd card to beef it up some.
I definitely recommend this phone. This review is coming from someone who has been an Android user /phanatic since the day one Motorola Droid!
There is something for everyone with this device. It is easy to use for the beginner, but also has options for the more experienced Android users to get enjoyment out of it too.
Just so you know this device is currently getting support on XDA as of 10/20/20, so it won't become obsolete for awhile if you like to experiment.
Boost Mobile is having a Cyber Week sale right now, and you can get the Moto g fast for $89.99 usd.
This is a Boost Mobile phone , so you will need a Boost Mobile plan. They have a no contract 15gb plan starting at $45usd that reduces in price with 3 , and then 6 on time payments down to $30 !
This is the plan I use, and I love it. I have never even came close to going over my data allotment, and even if I do, it's not capped. They just reduce the speed until your next billing cycle.
I hope this review helps anyone in the market for a new device this Holiday season.
