Where poverty nests, peace fades.
Where lies prevail, peace dissipates.
Where injustice reigns, peace vanishes.
Where hypocrisy rules, peace dissipates.
Where respect is a forgotten luxury, peace fades.
Where falsehood is enshrined as law, peace dissipates.
Where mediocrity governs, peace dissipates.
Do our leaders recognize the chaos they have engendered with their incessant deceit towards the people?
Do they dare to speak of what is legal and illegal?
Is poverty legal in a land so rich, where food abounds?
Is ignorance legal in a nation that was once the beacon of knowledge?
Is it legal for culture to lie in the hands of plunderers rather than guardians?
Is it legal for hospitals to cry out for doctors in a country that produces them in abundance?
Is it legal for drugs to flow like water in every street, corner, and even in official offices?
Is the excess of weapons flooding our streets legal?
Is the lack of work, housing, health, and security legal?
Where does the fragile line between "legal and illegal" reside?
Decades of unfulfilled promises and legalized plunder have led us to this catastrophe, where they still cry out that "there is no money", when the harshest truth is that there is no trace of shame left, and therefore:
THERE IS NO PEACE!
