Two days ago we have been surprised with the new trailer video published on the official Star Wars YouTube channel named Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker | D23 Special Look and at the moment of writing this article it has around 15 million views. Anyways, we will have to wait until December 20 to see the new sequel (maybe the last?).
It is time to end the story of one generation. The surviving Resistance will face the First Order in the final chapter of the Skywalker saga...

The director and writer of the movie is Primetime Emmy winner J.J. Abrams, a well-known producer, director, writer by Star Wars movies, but also Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) or Super 8 (2011). He had help in writing the story by Academy Award winner Chris Terrio (Argo (2012), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017)). Of course, characters creator is George Lucas, and co-writers of the newest movie are Colin Trevorrow (The Book of Henry (2017), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)) and Derek Connolly (Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), Jurassic World (2015), Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019)).
