So, after you open the box you have the unit, antenna and power cable. I used ethernet for best signal and set it near a window like everybody else. You download the app, open up a wallet, they have a good wallet you can use. Now you can open app and see your location as well as other hot spots near by. I really dont know anything and it didnt come with super detailed directions but if you are goofy enough to come this far, optimizing with a roof antenna is a must. But your going to wait for it to sync which can be a day, couple or few of them. So be patient, stay excited but pay attention esp if you dont have a working knowledge of crypto.This is a really cool hobby and the community is great. The project part of it is awesome. The whole thing is just great. If you want to see your house and section and which neighbors have hot spots, how much they are making, just go to Helium explorer. I downloaded the app on my smart phone, which youll need to do anyway and messed around with it and watched a ton of install videos on Youtube, so when it showed up, i pretty much just hooked it up.
