This is a question I ask myself quite often. With the popularity of crypto currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, more and more people started discussing them on their social networks. Some consider this type of investments to be the best ever, while others call it extremely dangerous. This is what I personally think after studying crypto for some time.

First of all, I am absolutely sure that no one should invest in crypto just because everybody else does it. It is one of the major mistakes beginners make when entering in crypto. In order to safely invest, even a small amount of money, one needs to know something about the investment itself.

For me, crypto currency is an interesting investment, but I also realize its unpredictability. Prices can raise rapidly and drop as quickly. Therefore, I would never invest any money which can potentially hurt me. I am sure that protecting my money is much more important than making money from investing.

When I start dealing with cryptocurrencies in 2026, I will not do it in order to become rich quickly. I will begin with small amounts of money and pay less attention to investing. Instead of that, I will try to learn as much as possible: I will study various types of cryptocurrency, their functioning principles, news, etc. The more information I have, the better decisions I can make.

Furthermore, I believe that patience is a great virtue here as many people start investing because of the opportunity to make money quickly, but investments do not usually work this way. Sometimes it is better to stay calm and think long-term, rather than trying to react to every single change in prices.

So, should you buy crypto in 2026? My answer is yes but only if you did enough research first and understand the risks. Do not start investing just because of somebody else's advice, invest only because you know everything necessary.

Every day I am discovering new things about cryptocurrencies and still far from the complete knowledge. However, one thing I realized by now knowledge is the best investment one can make.  Start small, stay patient and always act with your head, not your emotions.
