The topic of crypto replacing the traditional money system has been on my mind lately. Some people think that crypto money would replace traditional payments in the future, and others deny the possibility of such development. After studying the topic a bit, I believe that the answer is not as simple as that.
For now, I am convinced that crypto is unlikely to replace traditional money. We continue to spend cash, transfer money using bank cards and bank transfers. Purchasing things like groceries, paying utilities and bills or buying goods online remains easier with the money we currently use.
That being said, I am sure that the future of crypto looks bright. 🌍 Every year more and more people get informed about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Some companies accept cryptocurrency as payment for products or services, and there are countries that began using cryptocurrencies for some transactions. In case of such trend continuation, the role of crypto will only increase.
What I like about the crypto the most is the possibility for the customers to choose another form of managing finances. You can transfer money anywhere in the world and usually without any help from the bank. I think that this point is the main reason for such high popularity.
Nevertheless, crypto is not perfect yet, and there are several problems to solve. One of them is instability of prices and difficulty of using cryptocurrency as the means of payment. Another problem is related to security. It is essential to keep the wallet protected from hacking and scams. These issues have to be improved in order to allow people to use cryptocurrencies widely.
In my opinion, the matter of replacement does not actually exist. Both systems can coexist successfully, and it is up to the person to decide which form of payment he/she prefers.
I am still exploring the topic, and my opinion may change after getting some more information on the issue. But for now, I think that crypto is more likely to be used along with traditional money. 💙
