Who are the “they”?

“They” want to hold “us down.

“They” want to keep “us” scared, confused, and stupid.

But who are they?

I think “they” are “us”, but with a lot more money.

Just as scared, confused, and stupid, but well off enough
to take the sting slightly out of the fucking mess we are
all in.
