Bitcoin Cross of Death

They say that in techncal analysis there is a thing called Cross of death. The Cross of Death happens when the SMA 50 (Simple Mobile Average on 50 days) crosses to the downside the SMA 200 (Simple Mobile Average on 200 days).

As common as it is in the bearish aesthetic, the image itself is quite scary and make you feel a compelling urge to login to your favourite exchange and drop every coin from your wallet. Of course, personally I have not sold any of my criptocurrencies. The only one who sold today are the ones who bought at 65k.

I do not follow aesthetic, be it bullish or bearish: aesthetic is for pig, and pig get slaughtered.

IMHO this whole Bitcoin dance is pure manipulation. Big whales scaring small investors so to make room for other big whales to enter the game. Same old story.

The thing that upstes me, and here we come to the point of this post, is the fact that this rollercoast is damaging seriously some Altcoins. Even if they are good projects, with sound fundamentals, both technical and financial, some Altcoins are really suffering from this continuous drawdown. The more dips they take, the more they strive to return to the previous high, often failing to regain the full previous value.

I find this collateral effect really sad because it is damaging some fair projects that are in a phase of development where such harms couldn't be easily susteinable.

So, if you are a owner of Altcoins, please consider carefully before turning your back to your beloved asset. A thousand of little drops could turn into a lethal tsunami.

Entries and exits in an investment should be planned based on a strategy both fundamental and techical, not on emotional reactions to artificially induced panic. Those dips are only fruit of market's manipulation: valuable projects should be protected form these forms of speculation.

There are Altcoins which have reached very interesting levels of techical evolution and should be appreciated because of their fundamentals, without too much concern for market's hysteria.

So, my point is just to ignore the negative hype induced by this bearish propaganda. It's like the attitude Warren buffet had with his investments: he thought that if a company was solid with good products and service, it was worthy to buy even if it was experiencing a temporary period of disgrace.

Same philosophy applies to Altcoin: if yesterday you liked the project, why today being scared by a graphic that tomorrow will be washed away?
