Walls of Distrust
Living under the spell of delusion
Contrived to avoid problems’ extrusion
Amidst the propagandas confusion
Derived by an Order to sustain the illusion
The seeds germane to the downward spiraling issue
Demanded a corrupt power authority to be in situ
Spawning a systematic, erosive decay to accrue
Confused by facts unbelievable, but true
Observing the evolution of social order's decay imposed by the corruption of established, traditionally accepted processes genuinely constructed to examine and communicate issues of divergent origin, yet salient for an orderly, functioning civil and law abiding society; and, cognizant of demographically diverse values with purpose to establish a cohesive, productively progressive social environment solely derived when a foundation of factual, measurable, irrefutable `truths' be broadly, firmly, and honestly present.
The principal culprit among the many; the seed of insurrection borne of conspiratorial rhetoric contrived to affirm presence of divergent perspective(s) responding to issues of public importance and considered unjustifiably imposed by authority of conformity deemed to afflict equally, divergent values. Materializing tribal alliances of special-interests, vying for public channels to broadcast and garner attention to a counter-perspective in order to gain general acceptance within fertile ground of the disinterested, disenfranchised whom, unwittingly share relevance. Thus fomenting a divisive social construct of increasingly impenetrable walls of distrust.
"The conflict to different approaches to the liberty of man and mind or between different views of human dignity and the right of the individual is continuous. The dividing line goes within ourselves, within our own peoples, and also within other nations. It does not coincide with any political or geographical boundaries. The ultimate fight is one between the human and the subhuman. We are on dangerous ground if we believe that any individual, any nation, or any ideology has a monopoly on rightness, liberty, and human dignity."

3 NOVEMBER, 2016:... "If communication and information was the bedrock of an integrated and inclusive Global Village – it is the disinformation (and the rapid dissemination of the same) that is threatening the applecart of a “Global Village”. Ironically, it is the very features of a participative democracy with its tenure-based outlook that is fanning the fire of populism and “quick fixes” – Statesmanship is passé, and a new strain of illiberal protectionists are winning the popularity stakes. Again, the walls of distrust and hatred are coming up and the “village” is coming apart."

The blatant and pervasive malaise metastasizing beyond defined borders of nation, region, municipality, and neighborhood of ethnic, religious, racial and secular-social definition is failure to trust the communiques of duly elected bodies of institutionalized governance; commercial mass media entities, and special-interest NGO's (Non-Governmental Organizations), to the detriment of all concerned. Historically, platforms of political punditry rhetorically professing solution to issues relevant to sustaining a progressive, law-abiding social order, derived through an accepted, independent electoral voting protocol; by coming under scrutiny of conflicting interest groups' suspicion of impropriety, and gerrymandering is increasing distrust and willing acceptance of the electoral results.
"Despite all the negative things that come with elections, they remain almost the only method our society has to debate points of contention and look toward our future, and to find legitimate ways to solve the issues before us. If citizens exercise mature civic consciousness and are proactive about participating and keeping watch on the debates and campaigns, we could see the beginning of the kind of communication and understanding that breaks right through the walls of distrust that are obstacles in our society. It's so bad right now it is suffocating; turning the cynicism, discouragement, and division into participation, hope, and community depends on the aware citizens of our nation." Wherein, by process of unknown origin, or authority will remedy be found to combat the down-spiral to dissolution if no singular source of confirmed, factual truth, centered in logic and reason able to permeate a constructive, effective and all-inclusively diverse solution?
The answer may evade detection before foundational damage resides with permanence.
