According to a recent press release, infrastructure-as-a-service [IAAS] company StrongNode Edge has announced the opening of its early access user registration. Opened as of April 20th, 2022, this will allow potential users early entry to its platform, StrongNode.io. They can now create basic profiles while reserving a limited spot on The Edge.
Running on a first-come-first-serve basis, StrongNode Edge, per the mentioned source, will reserve a thousand spots for potential users to claim. This idea will increase access to the tokens while attracting many users.
As an IAAS project supercharged by the immutable and permanent technology, blockchain, StrongNode Edge is currently building a set of advanced web3 products that the Edge Network powers. Utilizing blockchain for payment facilitation, interoperable efficiency, and rewards, StrongNode hopes to pioneer a change in how computing resources are used.
Albeit still in its construction phase, the StrongNode Edge product will allow anyone with a smart device to connect to the network and provide unused computing resources such as RAM, GPU, CPU, etc.

Three Major Segments of StrongNode Edge Users
StrongNode Edge introduces three categories of users—-Edge Customers, Edge Innovators, and Edge Seeders.
The Edge Seeders on the platform are individuals that participate in the shared economy of computing resources that power the global edge network. These Seeders will earn $SNE tokens for seeding nodes, contributing to the project’s growth. On the other hand, Edge Innovators will crusade for social impact initiatives, providing a suitable platform that supports intense computing. These innovators help increase the Edge Node reach.
Edge Customers will mastermind the value exchange between small businesses, enterprises, and regular users. Edge Innovators and Edge Seeders are the backbones of this IAAS-based project: they provide idle compute resources, earn $SNE, and participate in a new edge network and economy.
Per the mentioned press release, users will have the right to provide unused computing resources for use in the supply chain industry. Using a combination of $SNE or USD currencies for payment, commercial and industrial brands can buy computing resources from users for a fee.
Brands can either use a combination of $SNE or USD or just one. If only the latter is used to settle payments, a portion will go to buying $SNE to fill the reward pool for Node Seeders.
