Altair: Planet of the Horses
The story of DarleyGo is set on the fictional planet of Altair in the Kavaia Galaxy, light years away from our own Milky Way. Here, mythical horses rule the world. These elegant creatures have not slaved to humans like their simple cousins on Earth.
Graceful and majestic, the Altairians are divided into three tribes, the Darley, Hayato and Areo. Each year, an event stretching back centuries is held to find out which horse is the best of all. The next competition is just around the corner and all horses are gearing up to bring glory to their tribe.
The three tribes of Altair give their members different advantages such as abilities and personalities. While each horse on Altair is unique, their tribe and the subsequent bloodline bequeath every individual with its own set of characteristics that can come in handy in the global competition. The question on everyone’s mind though is, who will win this time?
Darley Gameplay
As a GameFi platform, DarleyGo offers different game modes for its players. Each mode is unique to the Darley ecosystem and brings in different entertainment and engagements.
The Racing Mode is a Player vs Player style game where users will compete their horses against other players. With up to 12 participants in each race, the races are themselves categorized in 5 levels, with Griffins being the lowest and participants required to win races to proceed up the ranks. While the lower PVP races are easier, the higher levels bring more winnings and rewards, of course with the races being much tougher and competition much harder.
The Player v Environment is called the Trainer Mode, where users can take their horses and roam the open world. This allows players to not only explore Altair but interact with NPCs and other players, complete side missions and learn more about their majestic beasts. The more they explore, the more rewards they can get and train their horses better.
The Breeding Mode allows players to use their horses and breed them to create offspring (as newly minted NFTs). Each subsequent poney will have a mix of characters from its parents. Finding the right set of parents where the genes (horse stats) will come together perfectly can create offspring with good characteristics.
Into the Metaverse
DarleyGo is not just going to stop at this. With NFT based horses, users will be able to enter a metaverse in the future. Users will be able to have their avatars ride their NFT owned horses, build racecourses and hold competitions and tournaments of all kinds. Users will also be eventually able to use VR technology to immerse themselves in the races and tournaments for a first-person, proper virtual reality experience.
Based on the Solana network, Darley Go provides a faster and secure environment than other NFT based games due to the efficient and cheaper blockchain network.
