As soon as a bit of sun appears and the air warms up significantly, sparrows love to take all kinds of baths. Of course, there is a reason for this - they simply take care of their plumage and hygiene.

Today was the day when I could observe them while bathing. Of course, they had eaten plenty of nuts early, not to say they had gorged themselves.

In the first photo, it is clear that the sparrow has had a water bath. It decided to find a convenient spot on a branch where the sun's rays could reach it.

I noticed that the fun was collective, because more specimens splashed in the icy water and had wet feathers. Some sparrows, however, decided to take a sand bath.

There is one place, basically connected to the bird canteen, where sparrows come and bask in the sand. A specific funnel has already been created in this place, prepared for guests who like to bathe.

In addition, the sun always shines in this place at a certain time of day, so it is warmed and prepared. There are often fights between sparrows and a fight for space. However, they always somehow get along and all the sparrows find a piece of warm sandy ground for themselves.
