This year's end of the mushroom season in the area where I usually collect them was not very impressive. I just found a few boletus edulis.
They clearly show that there is considerable interest in mushrooms, and the teeth marks of small rodents also indicate that demand significantly exceeds supply.

The rough puffballs did not disappoint this year either. And this species is also edible, but I don't collect it either. I'd rather enjoy it with the eye than the stomach.

I also found a few toadstools called "Mglejarka" (Amanita vaginata). I don't collect them even though I know they are edible.

Such a large number of gnawed mushrooms indicates a lack of them in the forest. It's hard to say whether this is a temporary lull or a sign of a short mushroom season.

Enjoy 😊
