I think back to Burma, which I miss and consider the coolest country in Southeast Asia. Thailand is beautiful, Cambodia mystical, but Myanmar appealed to me the most.

Returning to this country is now almost impossible, or at least very dangerous, because of the ruling military junta, which overthrew the government of Aung San Suu Kyico, and arrested and tried the Nobel laureate herself. A similar situation has already occurred in Myanmar.

There are, however, brave people who take the risk and go because the visa can be obtained without any problems, but I wouldn't risk it.

Looking at photos of the current situation and comparing them with what I saw during my stay, there have been huge changes for the worse.

In addition, Myanmar was literally massacred by the last 7.7 magnitude earthquake in March, and the consequences are dire. It is a tragedy for this poor country

But back to the topic, in this post I would like to show you a bit of Myanmar as I remember it and immortalized it in photos and videos, starting with the Shwendagon Temples.

To make it clearer, I will split this post into two parts. Shwendagon inside and outside
