Saint Anne is a beautifully situated town in Martinique. It is situated on a beautiful beach and a bay where dozens of yachts and catamarans call every day. At first glance, the beach looks like time stopped there in the 90's.

Our stay in this town was divided into three stages. We spent the first days in a rented apartment, the next ones at the campground. And still others on the wild beaches of Martinique, sleeping in a tent.

We did not know about the campground and it was a pleasant surprise for us, the more that it was right next to the beach, and it only cost 13 euros for a tent. We had our own tiny tent which was enough for us.

One sunny day we met a local artist on the beach. He was an invalid and earned some extra money by making sculptures from coconut shells. He didn't have many buyers, so we decided to help him.

We went to his table and feigned great interest in his products, thus we chased some customers from the beach, and on the same day he sold everything he had.

He decided to pay back and invited us for grilled tuna with the addition of his own habanero peppers and herbs. We bought a sufficient amount of beer and wine and organized a small party on the beach. Was great. He also offered us an overnight stay in his house on the hill, but unfortunately our travel plans were different.

Saint Anne also has cool bazaars, great bakeries and seafood eateries

And the sunsets in Saint Anne were unforgettable and impressive
