A very characteristic and unusual castle in Poland. Representative when it comes to the eastern side of our country. Built at the end of the 16th century by a certain Mikołaj Spytko Ligęza. Initially, it was supposed to be a defensive castle, its walls were over 1.5 thick, which housed arrowslits.

Like a castle, such a legend (weak)

Legend has it that during the reign of Ignacy Lubomirski there was an unusual situation in the castle. The guests playing in the castle saw a man outside the window, who was going to the market with a rooster. Lubomirski, amused by the fact, wanted to shoot a rooster. Unfortunately, he hit the man who was carrying the rooster. Of course, compensation after the murder is impossible, so as part of penance, he built a monastery in Rozwadów near Łańcut and visited it for prayer (supposedly).

At the end of the 17th century, the castle was transformed into a palazzo in fortezza residence. After the death of the original builder, the castle was looked after by its legitimate heirs, i.e. the Lubomirski family. They made subsequent renovations and rebuilds of the facility
