The hat has a velvety and matte surface, dark brown in color and can reach a diameter of up to 10 cm. convex, it may have a slight cone in the middle. The edge is often tucked up.

The gills are delicate, white, darkening with age. They change color to rusty red after being damaged.

The leg is the same color as the hat, but slightly lighter at the bottom. The inside is full, cylindrical in color.

After damage to the flesh, the fungus secretes white, characteristic of the dandelion, later turning pink.
