Again, I was not disappointed by the beech forest located in the reserve on the Chełm mountain in the village of Hutki-Kanki. There, on fallen old beeches, you can collect oyster mushrooms almost all year round.

The microclimate of this place causes mushrooms, mainly oyster mushrooms, to grow endlessly. Old individuals of the spoon-shaped oyster mushroom die, and young ones appear in its place. This is how the fungus cycle looks like. When frosts appear, oyster mushroom gives way to a species that prefers winter conditions, i.e. oyster mushroom will appear. This one is also tasty and healthy.

I use the benefits of this place and always collect the right amount. I never take more than I need. One day for scrambled eggs, another day for a barbecue, and on the day of departure I saved up for vegetarian tripe.

The Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska is a specific place where I have a great rest. It is also a great training place. A large number of hiking trails leading along forest sandy trails in hilly terrain is a good training before going to the Caucasus Mountains.
