At first glance, most mushroom pickers would say that it is parasol mushroom, only still young, undeveloped. And it actually looks almost identical with a slight difference.

The Freckled dapperling is characteristic for its hat with distinct, brown, strongly pointed scales in the shape of a cone. The hat can reach up to 15 cm in diameter when unfolded.

Initially, the cap is spherical, bell-shaped, but opens with age and is flat.

The blades of this mushroom are quite tightly spaced, narrow, white in color.

The leg can also be quite long, reaching 15 cm in height and up to 2 cm in thickness.

It has a cylindrical shape, slightly brown in color, sometimes covered with scales. It is hard and fleshy, empty inside. It has a collar.

The flesh of this species of mushroom is white in color with a very unpleasant smell and taste. Therefore, although the fungus is not poisonous, it is not suitable for culinary purposes.

The fungus is quite common and is found in all forests. This specimen grew among the leaves along the park path. These fungi can be found in summer and grow until autumn.
