Bweju is a small village located on the eastern coast of Zanzibar Island. It may look unassuming, unlike any other village on the island, but it still holds a certain magic.

People rave about sunsets, but we couldn't watch them due to our location. So we decided to go for a sunrise.

It turned out to be a bull's-eye. To witness this wonderful phenomenon, we decided to spend the entire night on the loungers at our hotel—or rather, on the beach—and we weren't disappointed. An incredible sight met our eyes. A fisherman heading out to sea to catch his prey added to the charm of the scene.

So we lay down on deckchairs and watched this extraordinary phenomenon for several dozen minutes. The sky underwent such a metamorphosis that it was difficult to take our eyes off it. I captured this phenomenon in photos and am sharing them with you.
